The 2018 Brain Tumor Run for Research event will be held at the Maritime Park (behind the Blue Wahoos Stadium) in beautiful Downtown Pensacola to raise funds for the 501(c)(3) nonprofit Accelerate Brain Cancer Cure! We have made some big changes from previous events in effort to raise the most funding for brain tumor research!

Event changes include location change, later start time, route changed to 1 mile run/walk, medals for everyone who registers and completes the 1 mile run/walk, cash rewards for top finishers and more!

What’s new about the 2018 Brain Tumor Run?

The event has been moved to the Maritime Park right behind the Blue Wahoos stadium. The start & finish line will be located right by the pavilion (Hunter Amphitheater) which is right by the water.
We have changed the format of the run to a 1 Mile Run/Walk in effort to reach out to both runners and walkers. EVERYONE who has registered and completes the 1 mile run/walk will receive a finisher medal along with their event t-shirt. And for the runners, we will be providing cash awards for the top 3 male and female runners (1st place male/female: $100, 2nd place male/female: $75, 3rd place male/female: $50).

You can join the event remotely this year and at your own schedule! If you cannot attend the event, just register online and let us know if you would like us to mail you your shirt and medal! Of course, we hope you complete a 1 Mile Run/Walk in honor for those who have been affected by brain cancer! We’d love for you to send a photo of your walk so we can put up on our website, but not mandatory!

We are reaching out to the community to help raise funds to invest in research aimed at finding the fastest possible route to a cure for brain cancer. Please help us fight brain cancer by telling all your friends and family about the event. We need all the registrations and sponsors we can get, so any help with this is greatly appreciated!
