Blues on the Bay 2018: The Reunion Band

The Blues Angel Music Blues on the Bay summer concert series returns to the Hunter Amphitheater at Community Maritime Park this May. Catch a beautiful sunset, and maybe even a glimpse of our famous Blue Angels coming home while you enjoy FREE music and great times on the beautiful Pensacola Bay!

Concerts are held on select Sunday evenings at the Community Maritime Park Hunter Amphitheater when the Blue Wahoos are away. The series has become a popular event for locals and visitors to spend the final hours of their weekend enjoying great music with family and friends in a great atmosphere.

Pack your coolers and bring your lawn chairs or blankets. Concerts are family friendly and concessions are available. Pets and glass containers are prohibited at the events.

Blues Angel Music plans to give away prizes to attendees at each performance and there will be a Grand Raffle at the end of the series to raise funds for music education through the Blues Angel Music Foundation. The winner of the Grand Raffle will be announced at the final concert on October 21.

Concerts begin at 6PM and are free thanks to these sponsors: City of Pensacola Parks and Recreation, Blues Angel Music, Audi Pensacola, Jet 100.7FM, and Soft Rock 94.1 FM.

The Reunion Band’s set list predominantly features rock oldies and R&B hits from the 60s, 70s & 80s . They are a regulars of the Bands on the Beach and Christopher’s Concerts series, as well as various Mardi Gras balls and other functions.

The group was formed in 1989. Members include Billy Harrell,vocals; Charlyne Kilpatrick, vocals; David White, bass; Larry Northup, drums; Ed Nickinson, guitar/vocals; Ross Orenstein, keyboard/vocals; lead guitar.
